A REFERENCE TO REALISM
This article is from "Articles of Printing, School and Life" by Monday, February 18, 2008. "Articles" is forced to close because the reference to email apperteneva http://www.roberto.maurizio.it/ Register that I wanted to eliminate lifetime. The caller, Register, similar to the most ruthless things that a normal person can understand and want, it disappeared into thin air with its exorbitant demands, with a failure in the Third World, one evil. We are thus compelled to pass the few articles published in "Articles" because it was deprived of the right to make use of a miserable structure based on the exploitation of women of series B. Register, probably, is also linked to this magnificent space donated for free by Google. The Italian Register of unclean behavior, in my view, has nothing to do with the wonderful platform from which to write freely. Too bad that the losers in all this is Ambaradam Italian technology, web, Italian, young Italian students, who will become more and more slaves to the clarity and wisdom that comes from foreign competition. The Belgian Congo, still in vogue with Register, will be right technology such as that which comes from provincial structures pseudo futuristic Italian whose sole purpose is the money at all costs, in the best tradition of the wizard from the usual squalid Italy at more or less armed gangs.
CURRENCY AND DEVELOPMENT
Federico Caffè
The following is the article published by the magazine "Cooperation" Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the number 19, April 1981. The intervention of Prof. Federico Caffè is inside the "Highlights" "Towards the New International Monetary Order", edited by Roberto Maurizio. The article is inserted into the "Open Debate" on "Money and Development."
addition to the Professor, was attended, among others, Mahbub Ul Haq, Paul Leon, and Fabrizio Saccomanni.Federico Coffee is Professor of Political Economy and Finance in the Faculty of Economics, University of Roma.Pareto wrote, somewhere, that there are whole libraries of books devoted to bad money-go, but some pa-gina enough to discuss so exhausted Riente on good money. Irrespective of the value of vo-glia attributed to this or analog ghe famous phrases (and I do not think, for me, given that the sentence can be shared), we find-mo in the presence of a scholar who, with the exceptional power of his genius, has managed more a time to condense into a pa-rola or formula that fueled the seeds whole branches of economic literature. But, scene-dividends to such heights of intellectual vigor that stratosphere-the lowest level where I am, condense in a short time, the theme that I-is assigned to appear, at first-there is, very little significant. Then, re-flexing that this limited level of significance would remain the same ta- even if you had an up space much larger and especially considering that in the eighties we have already, I think I can re-shows, in modest simplicity, my views on the prospects of the international monetary system. I think it finds its enemies meet-consciously, on the one hand, the prophets of the future, come up with monotonous insistence that innumerable variations-tions of new currency or basket of currencies, on the other hand, in the nostalgic past that, having used profitably in a specific circumstance, the formula-tion of the "pooling of reserves to be lutarie-', the reproduce in any event, with pathetic convince mento.Tra- utopia and the attachment to the past, lies what is history-cally possible, within the relevant time. We live in an involution of deep-ni-le culture, in which attitudes veni-compartment has accused members of the academia in countries of real socialism revived in incre-seeable statements, such as American economist David A. Stockman, who has chided the major economic models-rato-matrix of his country to produce pre-visions "cynical and destructive." In this climate of crusade, which is the very negation of the scientific dialectics, I think that's eighty years to be dedicated al-reflection and self-criticism, leaving sediment ideas pri-ma-to embark on ambitious new projects is as fragile. On this path of self-being is commendably placed the World Bank, the, with the complete abandonment of the traditional concept of incremental income to per capita ba-sava on which its loans, once satisfied that it ac- resulted in increasing the advantage of already privileged part of the underdeveloped countries. Tetragon every spirit is self-critical, in-stead, the International Monetary Fund, which persists in illusions-they can affect the economies of others without real co-knowledge of the plot of I-economic and social problems that sets them apart. Without a profound self-criticism of this from attitudes, which offends the science more than mortify the critic's awareness of the citizens of the countries involved, I do not see a good future for the activities of the Fund, as part of an international monetary system ; tional combining the technical capacity with respect for civilization and political independence of every membro.Per as the framework for the years im-mediately in front of us is fo-sco, there are signs of hope. An impressive number of British economists has taken a position but fer-critical of monetarism. An influential central banker, Karl Otto Pöhl, president of the Deutsche Bunde-sbank, had occasion to say recently: "Our stone-bit does not seek to a given set of interest rates, considered to be economically like-able, nor aims to defend a particular exchange rate. Lost-our policy of no-bid of the coin is an instrument, an intermediate target, as is implied by the use of the full production potential. " This seems to me like a seed on which you can try to reconstruct the plot of promising and stable future if interested. Unfortunately, this lucid statement is overshadowed by concern that the same per-sonalities shown for excessive expansion of public spending-va-ca (West Germany!). When these residues in conventional wis-gezza will be dissolved and, in the full use of bit-production potential, you will find the service which put an end to the monetary instrument, the inter-national level as on the inside, it will be accomplished a step-vo decided to compose a valid system-but money between countries. But this requires that the years are dominated dall'autocritica eighty-ta, more than a vacuous progettua-ity.
